Princess's On Ice……. loved it……

Good evening all; I hope you are all enjoying your week. We are finally getting some warmer days…. Yeah!!!!!  Well so much for me getting my post’s on my blog more often….. I have been busy, I am going to class at night to brush up on a few things….. so that keeps me busy in the evenings. And during the day I am just puttering around,,, sewing the baby quilt for my daughter’s little bundle of joy,,,,,, she is doing great and Little Guy is really kicking up a storm…. she is loving every minute of it….. and I am too…..wink…… 

  I have also started knitting a blanket too,, three colors, light blue, soft yellow, and off white,, it is looking so pretty…. not a fancy knitter but it does not fall apart….. so that is good….lol;  I still have not been able to do much by the way of decorating my home,,, Yet!  but I will be getting into it soon….

Ok  a few weeks ago my daughter Heather and I took our Princess Madison, (my granddaughter) to see Princess’s on Ice…. I have never ever  been to any thing like this before. so needless to say I was just as excited as Madison was….

Queen Mamaw and Princess Madison…. we dressed her like Cinderella who she adores…… she had pink sparkly shoes…. and pink gloves with white fur… but she took off the gloves.. I have never seen so many little Cinderella’s before,,,,, and with a few other Princess’s here and there,,,, but the most popular was Cinderella… of course.  ok ok more photos,,, I did my best to get some good ones from where we were….

Oh look Aladdin with the genie…. I was so amazed at how great the skated with all the costumes they had to ware….. the special effects were so wonderful…

Ok back on track…… when Aladdin came out on his elephant,,,, it was nuts….. not sure how they did it, but the elephant was on skates and doing a darn good job…

This is my favorite photo,,,, when Aladdin and Jasmine went on the flying carpet it really looked like they were flying…..gosh I have so many photos,,,, to show, don’t know what to show,,, guess I will have to do a two part post….. but you all can’t wait for that…… **wink**

 

OH look it is Bell and Beast….. how sweet they were…. so are you still with me????? and are you having fun???

Princess Madison with her Mee Mee.. they had a break in the show here, so they could get ready for the final act…. I am trying to find Snow White and the 7 dwarfs. It is hard to see who is who….hehe but I will find them…

No these are not the dwarfs,,,, hang on…. ok

Getting closer,,, this is Sleeping Beauty and the little fairies… Ok one more photo and I will stop and show you the rest on another post…. and I promise that I won’t take as long…

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO  look what I found….. hehehehehehe………. I know it took me long enough…. I love these guys…. so so cute…. hmmmmmmmmmmmm don’t see Snow White….. well don’t you worry I will find her…..

Well I hope you enjoyed my Princess show,,,, ok some of them,,not all of them…. it was a night that we will never for get,,, my camera’s battery conked out,,,I was using the video it has on it as well, and sucked up all the juice.  I will be doing some visiting tonight and see what you all have been up too…..

Remember Me??????

Good afternoon; Yes dear friends it is me,,,,,, the missing Cottage Rose... I have missed you all so much this past few months, so I hope some of you still remember me...lol;

With out being a downer post I will keep this short,,, (I hope),,,, Many changes have been made in my life,,,, staring with last summer. I am now a single woman again,, or what the new name is a displaced housewife,,,,, don't like that one much,,, makes me sound like I was lost... any way needless to say it has been a long and ruff journey for me... but with the help of the Lord who is so amazing and his perfect timing as well as loving family, and friends, things are looking up..... yeah! I am back in my home town which is a wonderful thing,, except for all the nasty cold and snowy days, it is nice to be home again.

During a most difficult day last year,,, the Lord with His perfect timing of course,,, I found out in a most touching way that my oldest daughter is having her first baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been waiting for so so long for that day, that I never thought it would happen.... last Monday we found out she is having a boy,,, they wanted a girl since they have two boys already,,, but he will be so loved , she is due in July but I think he will show up early,, from all the movement he was doing in the ultrasound he is going to be a real stinker... all is perfect with him Praise the Lord..

Well this did go where I wanted it to go,,,,,, I guess I have to learn my how to's all over again..... but this is his first photo,,,, he is facing down,, this is at two months..... is he handsome or what.......

So I am going to busy sewing up his quilt, planning a Huge baby shower for them....

Now I am still with out a job and looking for one is not as easy as it used to be,,, I am not with out skills,, jobs are just hard to find,,, but I have faith in the Lord and he will bring me the one that is perfect for me.

Now I have to do a lot of catching up with all of you,,, and see what everyone is up too,,,,I have not done much in the way of decorating yet... but with spring starting to sprout finally I am in the mood to redo my family room,,, paint it a lighter color..... and helping my daughter fix up the nursery.... that will be such fun.... will make sure I post photos to share with you all..... next Sat. we are having a baby day of shopping,,,,, can't wait......

Gosh I feel like I have to get to know you all again,,,, and you me,,,,,, but when you think about it,, I am a new Woman..... I really look forward to hearing from you all,,, and look for me in your comments because I will be there......So until next time God Bless;

HELLO THERE; I SURE HAVE MISSED YOU;

Hello there dear friends; I have so missed my blog and all of you. I have been doing some drive byes, or maybe blog byes…..  I have been seeing so many Beautiful Christmas homes,, you al have been really busy….  I will be back to my blogging again after the first of the year,, so much to tell and so much going on…. I just wanted to let you all know that I am still here and doing well,,,,, again.. Praise the Lord,, and for all the sweet Prayers from all of you,, I thank you very much…. MY JOY HAS LEFT ME;

Hello my sweet dear blog family….  I am in much need of all your Prayers,, and  I must take a break from my sweet blog..   My Heart and Joy for blogging is gone for now… But with the help of a wonderful Lady and Our Lord  it will return again,,, I am working on that…  I can’t share with you the reason’s why just yet,, just know that I will miss you all to very much.. You have become like Family to me,, and the joy and sprite each of your bring into my life when I visit and read your words… have helped my in more ways then each of you will ever now,, and for that I Praise the Lord for bringing you all in to m life…  Saying Thank You;  just dose not seem enough to express how I grateful I am.

  I will how ever be stopping by and paying a visit to each and every one of you from time to time,,, I can’t cut myself completely from you all…..  so this will be my last post for awhile,,,,, until my  Joy has returned.

So with that said I will show you all the rest of my Home Town as promised,,,,, I hope you all enjoy the photos,, I do love my town even though threw the yrs. it has changed  but still the same….  Now don’t you all for get about me,,, cause I will be back some day…..lol  so sit back and hopefully  enjoy my Town…..

This is our Old Hotel,, from the 30’s it is really not used any more,, it once was so beautiful inside….

This is our Hardware store,, it has been here since I was born,,,, still has the wooden floors, and his huge Old time Cash register… I love this store….. The next pictures you are going to see are of the Statues' around town,, it is part of the annual  Art around Town… so I will just show you.

The ladies of the garden club did a beautiful job on the plants…

Hello there dear blog friends…. I am a bad blogger,,, not keeping my blog up to date,,,,, but I have been making my rounds to see what you all have been up too. LET’S GO FOR A WALK;

Hey there dear friends; How was your weekend? sure hope some of you are enjoying some cooler days,,, we are in the 90’s again all week….. with little rain… this summer sure has been a HOT! one,,,not just here but all over…. so needless to say I have not be out side much,, only in the early morning or late evening,,,,, I have been doing my weeding and putting down some mulch….. that is about it…. whewwwwwwwwwwww….. 

But I did finally take my walk around town last week,,, and took some pictures to share with you…..  my home town is not a big town at all  but over the yrs has grown..  there was a time when every one new every one….that was nice…. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh my how fast things change….  but I still love our little town….

In the Summer time is when I love it best,, with so many beautiful flowers and plants around the Court Square, and planters around the town filled with gorgeous plants….. the Ladies of the Garden Club really out do them selves each year…. they put in so much love and time making our Town so pretty….  Ok enough of all my talking ,,, I will show you some photos now,,, I will have to do this in two parts,,, too many photos to show you,,, all at once,,,,, and this way I will get ya’ll to come back again……lol   I know I am a stinker……………

 

This is the top of the Court House,,, this clock always reminds me of Back to the Future movie,,,,,, I just love the carved detail of the stone work… it is just beautiful…  hmmmm I should have went inside to get some photos….  guess I will save it for next time….

I love all the beautiful color around the building,,,, it is a great area to just sit and watch every thing…

Just one area to sit and rest,,,, and enjoy the big shade trees…..

Each side has an entrance just like this one,,,, there is no main one…. love it…… this is the North side…

They even made sure to hang some flowers on all the lamp posts……

I remember these Loins from when I was a little,, they painted them white,, but they just used to be grey stone…  there are two one each side of a big cannon which I will show you now.

And here is the other Loin,,,,,, some where there is a photo of my baby brother Sam sitting on one,,,,, he was so little they looked huge…lol

I am sorry to say that I really don’t know how old this cannon is,,,, I just know that it has always been here,,,, I will have to do some checking on this,,shame on me for not knowing that……

FOUND NEW CUTE TABEL,,,AND FEELING BAD AT THE SAME TIME…..

Good afternoon ladies…… I hope you all had a wonderful weekend…. we are going back some very HOT days again.,, (boo)  but Saturday we did have some nice rain with a bit of thunder,,,, in the morning,, so I lite some candles and put on my Birds of song cd… it was so wonderful to sit and listen to the rain  and my CD.  an read my book….. I spent the most part of the day that way,,,,,,, I know shame on me,, I should have been doing something productive,,, but I just did not feel like it…… not because of being lazy,,, but because I am coming down with a very nasty Chest cough,,, it is really tight in my chest….  

  A few days ago while out looking through our local Salvation Army store,, I found this really cute small table….. here I will show you..

Squealllllllllllllllllllllllll  is she not the sweetest little thing,,,, and she even has two,,, not one but TWO Magazine holders….. wow… boy picked up right up and carried her all over the shop,, while still looking….lol  she was only 20.00  I did not think that was too bad,, she was in such great shape,,, I also found two books as well… I will show them to you later on…..

 

I just love this sweet charming table,, but not the color.. .so off to the paint area in Walley world,, I went,, and found a pretty off white color called Muslin..  but since I have not been feeling too great, I put off doing anything with her…..  so this morning I started to paint her,,,,, but I will save those for when I have her all done and spiffed up……. she will fit just wonderfully beside my wing chair,,,, the one in the photo,,, and set a few favorite Magazines in it…. and a small lamp and some pretties which I have no idea yet,, but never fear,, I will soon…..  

  

Now this is not too fancy but this is my little side tea table….hehehehe  I had to stop and make me a nice hot cup of Darjeeling Tea to help with my cough,,, and wait for the paint to dry,,, so I can add a second coat…..

I love to have Honey with my Tea but sadly I was out so I had to use my Splenda…. guess I had better get to the store later and buy some….. with the honey in it,, it makes me feel so much better… I  love to drink Tea when I feel bad.. it so helps,,,,, 

Well  sweet and dear friends of mine,, I hope you enjoyed my little post today….  I still have not been up town to take those Pictures of our pretty court square… but I will so don’t worry,,, I so want to show off my home town to you all,,, and Summer is the perfect time of year to show it off…..
