Hello there dear friends; I have so missed my blog and all of you. I have been doing some drive byes, or maybe blog byes…..  I have been seeing so many Beautiful Christmas homes,, you al have been really busy….  I will be back to my blogging again after the first of the year,, so much to tell and so much going on…. I just wanted to let you all know that I am still here and doing well,,,,, again.. Praise the Lord,, and for all the sweet Prayers from all of you,, I thank you very much…. MY JOY HAS LEFT ME;

Hello my sweet dear blog family….  I am in much need of all your Prayers,, and  I must take a break from my sweet blog..   My Heart and Joy for blogging is gone for now… But with the help of a wonderful Lady and Our Lord  it will return again,,, I am working on that…  I can’t share with you the reason’s why just yet,, just know that I will miss you all to very much.. You have become like Family to me,, and the joy and sprite each of your bring into my life when I visit and read your words… have helped my in more ways then each of you will ever now,, and for that I Praise the Lord for bringing you all in to m life…  Saying Thank You;  just dose not seem enough to express how I grateful I am.

  I will how ever be stopping by and paying a visit to each and every one of you from time to time,,, I can’t cut myself completely from you all…..  so this will be my last post for awhile,,,,, until my  Joy has returned.

So with that said I will show you all the rest of my Home Town as promised,,,,, I hope you all enjoy the photos,, I do love my town even though threw the yrs. it has changed  but still the same….  Now don’t you all for get about me,,, cause I will be back some day…..lol  so sit back and hopefully  enjoy my Town…..

This is our Old Hotel,, from the 30’s it is really not used any more,, it once was so beautiful inside….

This is our Hardware store,, it has been here since I was born,,,, still has the wooden floors, and his huge Old time Cash register… I love this store….. The next pictures you are going to see are of the Statues' around town,, it is part of the annual  Art around Town… so I will just show you.

They turned this empty lot into a gorgeous garden area with tables and benches,,, a lot of people eat their lunches here…

The ladies of the garden club did a beautiful job on the plants…

Hello there dear blog friends…. I am a bad blogger,,, not keeping my blog up to date,,,,, but I have been making my rounds to see what you all have been up too. LET’S GO FOR A WALK;

Hey there dear friends; How was your weekend? sure hope some of you are enjoying some cooler days,,, we are in the 90’s again all week….. with little rain… this summer sure has been a HOT! one,,,not just here but all over…. so needless to say I have not be out side much,, only in the early morning or late evening,,,,, I have been doing my weeding and putting down some mulch….. that is about it…. whewwwwwwwwwwww….. 

But I did finally take my walk around town last week,,, and took some pictures to share with you…..  my home town is not a big town at all  but over the yrs has grown..  there was a time when every one new every one….that was nice…. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh my how fast things change….  but I still love our little town….

In the Summer time is when I love it best,, with so many beautiful flowers and plants around the Court Square, and planters around the town filled with gorgeous plants….. the Ladies of the Garden Club really out do them selves each year…. they put in so much love and time making our Town so pretty….  Ok enough of all my talking ,,, I will show you some photos now,,, I will have to do this in two parts,,, too many photos to show you,,, all at once,,,,, and this way I will get ya’ll to come back again……lol   I know I am a stinker……………

 

This is the top of the Court House,,, this clock always reminds me of Back to the Future movie,,,,,, I just love the carved detail of the stone work… it is just beautiful…  hmmmm I should have went inside to get some photos….  guess I will save it for next time….

I love all the beautiful color around the building,,,, it is a great area to just sit and watch every thing…

Just one area to sit and rest,,,, and enjoy the big shade trees…..

Each side has an entrance just like this one,,,, there is no main one…. love it…… this is the North side…

They even made sure to hang some flowers on all the lamp posts……

I remember these Loins from when I was a little,, they painted them white,, but they just used to be grey stone…  there are two one each side of a big cannon which I will show you now.

And here is the other Loin,,,,,, some where there is a photo of my baby brother Sam sitting on one,,,,, he was so little they looked huge…lol

I am sorry to say that I really don’t know how old this cannon is,,,, I just know that it has always been here,,,, I will have to do some checking on this,,shame on me for not knowing that……

FOUND NEW CUTE TABEL,,,AND FEELING BAD AT THE SAME TIME…..

Good afternoon ladies…… I hope you all had a wonderful weekend…. we are going back some very HOT days again.,, (boo)  but Saturday we did have some nice rain with a bit of thunder,,,, in the morning,, so I lite some candles and put on my Birds of song cd… it was so wonderful to sit and listen to the rain  and my CD.  an read my book….. I spent the most part of the day that way,,,,,,, I know shame on me,, I should have been doing something productive,,, but I just did not feel like it…… not because of being lazy,,, but because I am coming down with a very nasty Chest cough,,, it is really tight in my chest….  

  A few days ago while out looking through our local Salvation Army store,, I found this really cute small table….. here I will show you..

Squealllllllllllllllllllllllll  is she not the sweetest little thing,,,, and she even has two,,, not one but TWO Magazine holders….. wow… boy picked up right up and carried her all over the shop,, while still looking….lol  she was only 20.00  I did not think that was too bad,, she was in such great shape,,, I also found two books as well… I will show them to you later on…..

 

I just love this sweet charming table,, but not the color.. .so off to the paint area in Walley world,, I went,, and found a pretty off white color called Muslin..  but since I have not been feeling too great, I put off doing anything with her…..  so this morning I started to paint her,,,,, but I will save those for when I have her all done and spiffed up……. she will fit just wonderfully beside my wing chair,,,, the one in the photo,,, and set a few favorite Magazines in it…. and a small lamp and some pretties which I have no idea yet,, but never fear,, I will soon…..  

  

Now this is not too fancy but this is my little side tea table….hehehehe  I had to stop and make me a nice hot cup of Darjeeling Tea to help with my cough,,, and wait for the paint to dry,,, so I can add a second coat…..

I love to have Honey with my Tea but sadly I was out so I had to use my Splenda…. guess I had better get to the store later and buy some….. with the honey in it,, it makes me feel so much better… I  love to drink Tea when I feel bad.. it so helps,,,,, 

Well  sweet and dear friends of mine,, I hope you enjoyed my little post today….  I still have not been up town to take those Pictures of our pretty court square… but I will so don’t worry,,, I so want to show off my home town to you all,,, and Summer is the perfect time of year to show it off…..

HELLO THERE!

 

Good evening; I just thought I would pop in and let you all know that I am still around…. Seems like Summer is just a busy time,,, doing yard work,,,, cook outs, picnics,,,Vacation’s,, Minnie Vacations,,, and just so much more…. that blogging time takes a back seat at times,,  so my reason for being MIA……  I hope to get back to blogging on a  more regular base’s soon.. I have been wanting to take a walk around our small town and take some photos to share with you all… Auburn is so beautiful in the Summer,, the Court Square is just amazing with so many lovely flowers planted,, and a small garden square with a water fall and seating,, and beautiful flowers… and each year they show case some type of Art around the town.. this year it is Statue’s around the town,, and they are amazing.. they have them set up all over town and at one end they have a very HUGE couple dancing in  Victorian clothing,,,,, and they are HUGE; lol 

But with the weather being so darn hot hot hot,,, I have not been able to get out and do that… so I am Praying that this weekend it will cool a bit and I can get up there to do that….. I am not sure how long I will be here in my home town,,, so I had better hurry….. We did get some much needed rain this evening,, it was a nice hard rain so my few plants were very happy…..  oh and all those weeds were singing too……  I hope you are all having a wonderful week, and the weather is pleasant for you where you live……  So that is it for now,,, I hope to be back with some lovely home town photos….

HEY I FOUND MY YARD!!!!

Hello there,, I hope all of you are having a wonderful week so far…. it has been so hot here,,,, and because of that it is keeping me from yard work,,, but the on the other hand I have been spending the days at my Sister’s house laying in her pool….. ahhhhhhhhhhhhh the water is so great…… any way I have done a lot of weeding and ,,,,,,,,,  surprise surprise,, I found my yard again.. yeah!!!  I still have some nasty weeds that I have to take care of but they can wait…….  the pool calls…lol

  As I posted about a few days ago my three grand daughters are in Cheer Leading,, and I went to watch them practice and just had to take some photos,,, now some are  not too clear,, but a few are.. so I hope you can see them…. My daughter Heather is a coach to the youngest ones,,, and she is so loving it,, not to mention she is a really good one….  so on to the photos…

 

Now this little one is my youngest,, Madison Lee,,, this is her first year,, and she is some what shy,,, but she loves her pom poms….lol

And this little cutie pie is Regan,,,,, she just loves cheering,, I think she is the loudest one,,,, I call her my little Monkey because she love’s to climb on any thing,, which gives me a heart attack….lol  Heather is in the back ground wearing a red shirt…. with little Maddy to her right…. this is a Potty break that is what they are all running……  lol

You see the little one all in red,,,,,,,, well that is my little Munchkin Liberty,,, she just turned 8,,my how time flies….. she is in the  Pom squad this year and boy can she dance… that girl has talent,,,,,, just like me…hehe  so now that you have seen them,,, I will show a few photos that are of most of all the girls,, it is a huge squad, My nice Jenny started it up a few yrs ago,, and it has taken off… she has different age groups and they are all so amazing….. they are called the Junior Patriot's… the JV squad has won awards all ready.  oops! am I bragging,,, sorry,,,,, can’t help it….

Regan just finished her summer salt's she did great.. excuse the bald head,,,,, no it is not mine,,,,,,, just a proud daddy watching……

Madison;;; this is just what she does most of the time,,, runs around the field…. love it… she is only 2 but she will get with it,,, I hope….lol

OK I will stop now,,,, I have more but I won’t bore you with the rest……. I hope you enjoyed my sweet little girls,, I love it that I can go and watch them each Thursday night.. they have done all the 4th of July shows in the area,, and some compaction's and in Sept.. the are in the Parade at our town fair… so they are a busy bunch….
