Hello there; I hope ya'll had a great weekend. I wish I could tell ya all that I did,,, but I did not...... It was so nasty,,, windy,,, cold,,, rainy.... ick; Well Saturday was a beautiful day, but Sunday was not, I spent most of the day in bed with my heating pad and feeling really bad.... :{ my whole body hurt. But today I am back to my old self again... :] yea! But................... what I woke up to was not very pretty, or nice........
Now all day yesterday we had rain my back yard was looking like a lake again, so when hubby was up getting ready for work , I had asked him if it stopped raining,,,,, he said yes buuuuuuuuuuuutt it was snowing now.... What!!!! no no it couldn't be, maybe I was having a bad dream.... But when I looked out the bedroom window there it was. I was not a happy camper ladies, my Weeping Pea tree was getting its lovely little buds, and my bulbs were really popping up to greet the Spring.... BBBBuuuuuuuutttt noooooooo not today....... [can you tell I am not happy]
This is looking out my kitchen window at the back yard... I have been slowly getting my porch ready for the Spring and Summer good thing I did not bring out every thing....
My poor little sweet tree, but all is not lost, I checked on her this afternoon and she is doing just fine. Thank goodness all of the nasty snow is gone now and the all is right with the World again. I hope it is the last of it. I don't know if I can take it if we get more snow.... lol my plants are just so brave. When hubby went to the store he bought me a really wonderful garden magazine. It is called Country Gardens how sweet was that, it has such beautiful gardens. Cottage style ones and some have plans to follow. I just love garden magazines. So I am so ready to get going on our front yard this year.. I have found some really lovely plants to buy and ideas on how to decorate it.. So now if this weather would cooperate I could get it started... So until I can I will just have to be satisfied with my magazines, sip my cup of English Breakfast Tea and dream.... sigh;
Well ladies that was my weekend, oh I forgot on Saturday hubby took me to the book store so I could find a new copy of my favorite author Laura Childs book which I did, then he took me to Red Lobster for a late lunch... OH it was so darn yummy,,, I ate stuffed Flounder with a garden salad and broccoli. mmmmm mmmm good.... Then home to put up my feet and check out some lovely Pink Saturday posts... At least I had one great day for the weekend....
I want to thank you all for your lovely comments and for taking the time to stop by for a visit. I so enjoy reading all of the comments you leave, your thoughts and ideas mean so much to me and really brighten my day... So until next time..
God Bless;
Hugs;
Alaura

I'm so sorry Alaura! I know you never can tell how things are going to go until well after Easter around here sometimes either. I'm so glad your tree is going to be okay! I can't wait to see all you do! Enjoy those magazines in the meanwhile!
Hope you're feeling lots better now!
Have a great evening,
Tammy
Our snow is not sticking but it was surely coming down! It is SO cold though...but I guess that is Spring! Warm one day and cold the next!
Stay warm and let's hope easter day is prettier!
Love,
Sue
Oh no, snow! My mom had some too in Vermont. It is so cold and rainy today in Massachusetts. I keep posting about Spring. Wishful thinking.

So sorry to hear you're still fighting that nasty weather. No wonder you're not feeling well.
I haven't been to Red Lobster in ages and now I'm starving for some shrimp! ;o)
I hope you see your Spring weather soon. We had GORGEOUS weather on Saturday then cold again from Sunday till now. It is supposed to warm back up into the low 70's today. I am ready for Spring to stay!
I haven't been to red lobster in a long time but I love eating there. I do have a recipe for their little biscuits they serve...YUMMY!
I will have to say, if I had a neighborhood like that with houses and trees (and people!), although I'm not fond of the snow, I would be doing the happy dance and walking up and down the street! Loved the pics. Made me think of the good old days when I had neighbors.
Hi Alaura,
We had the most beautiful weather this past weekend, I was so glad since it was hubby's birthday. But today not so good, we are back to rain and dark clouds. But that's o.k. as long as it clears up for Easter.
Take care,
Elizabeth

It's so nice to meet new bloggers.
Look at all of that Spring snow! I sure hope it warms up for you very soon.
We are going to be down to 32 degrees tonight. Hard to believe in NC.
