Now on too my post, yesterday I finally received my Birthday gift from my Sweet MIL. I had really forgotten all about it, so it was a wonderful surprise.. I can’t remember if I told you where she works so forgive me if I have…. She works for Vera Bradley back in Ft Wayne, Ind… she loves working there sewing is her passion and she is very good at it, not many get to work at a place where the love what they are doing… So for my gift she told me to pick out any thing I wanted,,,,, well she did not have to ask me twice,,,,,, (wink)…  So I hopped on the website to look at all the gorgeous things they have to offer. It was so hard to pick from so many, but I did find the right one.. I really love Toile and they had a pretty Toile pattern, it is brown and pink.. just a touch of pink.. yes ladies I took photos of it….

GEEEEEEEEEE  hope that came out right,,, did you understand what I was trying to say???? lol sounds ok in my head but when it comes out, it looses it’s intended meaning….

I am jealous! I love Vera Bradley. I have a wonderful overnight bag that a friend gave to me and a very small bag that I picked up at a yard sale once that was brand new for $5. Can you believe it?

Thanks for the sweet comments on my quilt. I just need to get busy and finish it. To answer your questions....no long arm. I do straight stitch in the ditch quilting! There is a quilt shop in Henderson that has a long arm that you can learn how to use and then quilt by the hour. Haven't gotten enough nerve yet to try it!
I usually go to JoAnns for my fabric in Raleigh. There is a really nice quilt shop in Wake Forest called Quilts Like Crazy.
Where do you live? Hugs, Donna

I purchased an adorable little Vera Bradley bag in Florida to give to the woman who picked us up at the airport and treated us to dinner in her home during our vacation ... she loved it! And I love your Vera too.
