IT'S A LOVELY DAY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD

DSCF0007

Now I know this is not a photo of a Neighbor hood, but it is sort of close,,,,   ok maybe not. This is a photo of my Sweet Sister and her hubby and my hubby and sweet ol' me.. From left to right. We are at Hilton Head SC. waiting for our ship to take us to Savanna. Which was a awesome trip. It was so hot there I thought I would melt, cause I am sooooooooo sweet. lol:]  I will show other photos on another post.  I have always wanted to go to Savanna so to me it was a trip of a life time. This was two yrs ago.

Ok now for today, I had a very great day at work, I am really catching on to how they do things. And the best part is that I can set up my front office any way I wish. So I am going to be doing that little by little. Now how cool is that......  It was a slow day so I was able to really catch up on what they are behind on.  I even got to go home early too even better.. yaaaaaaahooooooo!!!! yippy yiyaaaaaaaa..   Yesterday was such a nice day out I took out my finished projects and took photos of them, and this evening I put them on my Etsy shop, so every one please check them out.

I think they turned out pretty good if I do say so myself, does that sound conceited???  oh well I guess I am then hahahah  NOT.

Now I wish to thank every one for your kind and funny comments, and the visit. When I see that someone has taken time out to visit and read my silly writing about my mundane life, it really makes me feel very special  or something like that. You all make me want to try harder to make my blog worth while, so I thank you so much.

Yesterday I was trying out a new stencil I bought on line of very pretty roses and baby's breath in a bowl. I am painting it on a large slate, I have to do some detail work on them, but they are turning out pretty good. When I am finished I will take a photo of it and show every one. It sort of looks like a old Victorian painting. kind of cool. I have tomorrow off so I will be working on it in between house work. ewwwwwww  like the bathroom yuck. But I hate a dirty bath more. So just call me Scrubbing Bubbles...

Has any one be fallowing the Olympics, I have been watching some, we are doing pretty good. Phelps is really doing well, I hope he breaks the gold medal of Mark Spits , now how perfect a name for a swimmer, Spits. haha  I love our Gymnastics teams they are so awesome especially them Men's  no one thought they would do well at all, just goes to show you how determined our boys can be. So what is everyone's favorite game in the Olympics??? Do you have one or many, I love them all. So I put out this question to all, take your time I know how hard it is to answer a question as important as this is .  Laughing   :o]

So with this I end my deep and uninteresting thoughts, some times confusing thoughts. Hard to keep up with thoughts. Even for me.

My hope and prayers are for each and everyone to have a Blessed Week.

Hugs;

Alaura

Sounds like work is agreeing with you! My DD and her DH recently went to Savannah. This was her second trip and she loves it there.

What a great job: you do what you want and get to go home early! (I smell a rat--careful.)

I'm not crafty enough to do stencil work; I make big blob messes.

Michael Phelps has got me hook, line, and sinker! I've missed so much sleep staying up to watch him pile up the gold.

Alaura,

Sounds like a great trip you all had! :)

About the Olympics...Yes, my daughter, Joy, and I are watching them and I have to admit I'm rooting for Phelps too, but my favorite event to watch in the summer is the gymnastics....is that what you thought??? :)
