MY TWO GRAND KIDS FIRST YEAR OF SCHOOL. BOOO HOOO

Well my little Munchkin Libby and my Bubby Zachary are going to kindergarten this year.  It is so hard to imagine them so grown up and ready for school. I talked to their Mommies today, my daughter Chas said Liberty is so excited about starting school, which is a good thing, she said she loves her teacher. I was kind of worried about it but then my little Munchkin is so very friendly and loves to meet new people that I was not surprised to hear that. I will post her picture.  She is so cute and tiny for a six year old, hence the nickname.

I she not the cutest thing you ever saw. Her smile just lights up the room, and she is always smiling. Oh and how she loves to talk on the phone you can never get her off. Poor Chas she will never get the phone when she is a teenager. lol I have a old cell phone for her at Mamaw Goddess's house, and it never leaves her ear I have I have a photo of her I will just have to show you all.

I just love this photo, she is just talking away like some one is really on the other end, she is about three here Papaw is sitting next to her. This was taken before we bought our house.

Now on to #2 grand child Zachary, he is so handsome just like his daddy. He has the bluest eyes ever. His Auntie Heather has blue eyes just like his I think that is where is got them from.

I am not so sure about Bubby on his first day of school, he is kind of shy, so it will be hard on him. I am a little worried about that.  I talked to my daughter in law today about it, and she said he was to shy to tell the teacher he new his ABC. So they are having him go every day all day, Laura told them he really did know his ABC, and he can sing the song, but they did not listen to her. It is not going to be easy for him going all day. Poor baby. I will show you a couple of photos of him.  I have to brag on my babies.

This is my little Bubby, does he not have beautiful blue eyes. This was taken at his pre school they had a Grand parents day and I got to have lunch with him, it was so great. He is 5 now such a big boy. Loves to play out side and is so lovable gives hugs and kisses to all. But can be very shy too. I Pray he gets over it.

Zach is such a people person, oh and the play station games, he is so good at them for being such a young one. I can't even play some of the games he plays, he is just like his daddy. He is always calling me to come over and visit, he love to go bye bye. Some days it is hard to say no. haha  When he was born my little Munchkin took over as mommie, she just loved him so much. Every time he went where he was not to go, she was right there to get him and look out for him. She is like that also with her little sisters, very grown up.

I think I am going to have a harder time of them going off to school they the Mommies are. lol; So Mamaw Goddess , oh just so you know that is what they all call me, it started with my oldest grand daughter Caileigh when she was about two yrs. Her Mommy April and NiNi which is what she calls her Aunt Chas, she could not say aunt very well and it came out NiNI. how cute is that. So now every grand child calls me that well the younger ones do anyway. lol'   I love it I admit it. Oh one more photo of my little Zachary.

This is my little Man holding his new baby sister Madalyn  Lee. and the Proud Daddy my son Dustin. Zachary is such a great big brother, when she would cry he would sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. And she would stop, and loves to hold her and talk to her. Zachary is very protective of her, he calls her Maddy Moo.  He has a older brother and a younger one too, but sister is the baby, and the only girl, so she will have lots of protection. She looks just like Zachary, they could have been twins. Same blue eyes and same smile.

So I guess Grand ma is going to have to do some shopping for my two grown up babies for their first year of school. I just love shopping for them all, hubby is not so fond of it, cause I don't know when to stop. Hey is that not what grand parents are for......

I wish to thank each and every one of you for your very kind and oh so sweet comments. Each one is very special to me. So thank you all.  I hope you all have a great weekend.  I know I will I have some new projects to work on and then there's the Olympics to watch, never miss them. I love to cheer on our wonderful athletes . God Bless.

Hugs;

Alaura

Hey Alaura! Don't you worry about your cute little man.... My little Ryan was so shy when he started Kindergarten...probably because I stayed home with him and he had never had the chance to be around alot of other children at one time... I worried and prayed and cried when he started kindergarten... I don't know who was more scared him or me. Oh, but Before long he had come out of his shell and had alot of confidence, and is so outgoing now.... last year he was in 5th grade and wanted to even take his electric guitar to school and play it for the class. He did the morning show at school too... which he started doing in 4th grade. I was so proud of him.... I could have never done that at that age or any age for that matter. LOL! By the way, your grandchildren are precious! You do not look like you have grandchildren, lady.... you're beautiful! I loved all of your pink pretties too! Have a great week!

Your grands are so adorable! My own little grandaughter will start school next year and I am dreading it. Not that she will start school, but that I will not have her everyday like I do now. I will miss her so much!

You have the most gorgeous grandchildren! Have a wonderful evening watching the Olympics...I had to tape them so my daughter could watch gymnastics when she gets home from work. She was in gymnastics for ten years and still loves to watch it.

Hey Alaura,

Love your name, by the way..very unique. My son, Connor, started kindergarten this week. I think it was harder on my mom than it was me. He's such a people person, and has such an outgoing personality. I'm sure you're two grandchildren will be great. Thanks for sharing.. Kelli

Your grandkids are just as beautiful as can be ~
I can't believe you have grandkids though because you definitely don't look old enough ~
I remember my kids first day of school ~ I cried all the way back to my car after dropping them off ~ actually it lasted more than the first day ~

They are just precious. That first day of school is always so bittersweet isn't it?
What a joy it is when they make those special gifts in school...the ones just for Grandma!
Such a joy.

I too am watching my 6yr old granddaughter get ready for 1st grade. I hate for her to start because I know if I blink, she'll be graduating. Yours are precious and your munchkin reminds me of my Graycilla(that's what I call her-guess why). But aren't they the most wonderful gift from God?

I bet you wonder where the time has flown with them starting school. My mother always said it:s so different when your grandkids start school. I don't have any grandkids yet!!
