Well my Dear friends; I have just finished my mosaic mirror last night, real late. We had family here most of the day and had a cook out. It was fun having them here, my Mother in Law and Father in Law came up for a visit. We have not seen them for a while so it was nice having them. But they all stayed late, and that put me behind. So I stayed up to wipe off the grout, now I am going to put a clear spray coat on to protect it because it is going out side. Tomorrow I will take lots of pictures to show you all. I think it turned out pretty good for my first one. Then I was trying to spray paint my little pretties and fix up to sell. I am not sure if I am going to set up my store on Esty or start and new blog to sell them on. So ladies give me some of your wise wisdom for which way would be best.. I am a babe in the woods with this stuff. So any help I am all ears!!!!!
My inventory is starting to grow, so I think I am going to open my store next week. I am getting so excited and nervous about it, I sure hope it does well. My expectations for my first time are not real high I am thinking real, but I hope some one feels something I made is worth buying. Most of the things I sew paint or what every I just give away to family and friends. I am going to have a wide range of items. Pillows doll quilts, candle holders, and decoupage trays and boxes and such. In the shabby chic style. Which is my favorite style.
I am painting our family room in a sage green with a creamy white on the bottom with and chair rail and bead board. I have two walls and two book shelf's done. So I have one wall left. I will take some photos of the walls my book shelf's and post them. Then I am on to my dinning room. I have this beautiful fire place mantle that I am going to redo, it is my dinning room. I am going to do a mosaic on the surround, then paint it a creamy white. I will have before and after for you. Well I guess that is it for now. Except that I wish to Thank every one for your lovely comments. You are such sweet friends that I am blessed to have. You give me so much encouragement and I thank you for that. God Bless you all.
Hugs;
Alaura
This is Miss Velveteen and she is the bunny I am giving away, the drawing is Aug. 1st. I am also adding some other goodies with her. She is a country bunny, she loves the slow laid back life. You can sit her on a shelf or door in a chair or buggy basket any where. I made her so she can sit. All you have to do is leave a comment. And then I will put all the names in a bowl and draw out a winner. Good luck to all.
hugs;

I'm glad you had a chance to work on your projects, even though it was late! I have no words of wisdom for what kind of online store you should open up. I only know how to shop online LOL!
I love sage green. That's the color I wanted my kitchen painted but I got a color that looked nothing like it when it went on the wall! The next time I paint that's what I'll chose.
Your bunny is adorable. I'll be sure to keep posting to get my name in the drawing :)
take care,
Dawn
Hello Alaura!! I just love that country bunny!! My home is decorated in a country style. I have a great spot for that bunny right here! I'm crossing my fingers!! Have a great weekend! Hugs, Vanessa
Such a cute country bunny, Alaura. So sweet with her little boots on.
About which selling option to go with... I'd go with Etsy to start out. The interface makes it really easy to get set up and start making sales without getting bogged down in code and stuff. You can always graduate to something in addition to the Etsy store too.

Hi Alaura! I can't wait to see your mirror - I'm sure it will be so beautiful! Oh, my sofa is a mossy green and thank you so much for coming by. I appreciate your nice comments.
Be a sweetie and congrats on your award!
Shelia ;)
Thank you for your sweet words and prayers.
Alaura, I LOVE that bunny!!!!!! I collect those kind of bunnies, how precious :) You are sweet to have a drawing!
I agreem I would go with Etsy too. I really like it there. It is cheaper and easier. Plus you leave your items there and forget about it. Really simple to add items too!
Hugs,
Amy
Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day. I too have been busy making things, but mine are for fall so I am sorry I didn't get back here.
Can't wait to see your table. I have always wanted to try one, but it's the wiping of grout thing that I'm afraid I would get frustrated with. LOL.
What a cute bunny you're giving away.
Mary
What an adorable bunny! Please enter my name in your draw. I just found your blog by clicking on your profile from The Farmer's Wife.
It sounds like you are very busy. Your bunny looks adorable. I used to collect stuffed bunnies like her.
