TIMBER!! THEY ALL FALL DOWN

On Sat. the fifth my dear Sister and Brother in law, and wonderful Hubby buzzed down my tall evergreen trees and three med. sized bushes in the middle. The tree's were on each end of the house they did not look very nice. I have been wanting to get rid of them since we moved in. It looks so much better. I have some photos to share of the big event.

Oh and most of you know I love power tools, so the one with the big bucket is me giving it a go with the chain saw. I loved it!!!

Now all I have to do is figure out what I am going to do with the front now. But it will have to wait until next spring, lots of other things to do this year.

Then after we all went in and plopped down in a cool house, we went to see our fireworks. My two Great Niece's Karly Clair and Maddy Grace danced to a song called Momma I'm All Grown Up Now. They were so cute, on the Fourth they won first place out of all the other talent show. My niece Jenny Karlys Mommy has a cheerleader group of  little girls do their routine for the crowed

I have pictures but did not get them down loaded to my laptop yet. I will post a few later. So today Honey Bunny and I are sitting and putting our feet up this afternoon. I think we deserve a rest. Oh yes on Friday the 4th we had a cook out with our children and grand children, they wore me out. Such a busy weekend. But I loved every minute of it.

I also wish to THANK all of my sweet dear friends for the wonderful comments that were left on my blog post. You all mean a great deal you me and your comments are so welcome. With that I will leave you, I hope everyone had a most Wonderful 4th of  July weekend.

May the Lord Bless You and Keep you Safe in His Heart...

Hugs; to all

Hi Alaura and thanks for stopping by little Mitford books today! Oh, I'm so thrilled for you getting those trees chopped down! Yes, our littl men need direction and I can see you're a good director!!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Looks like you worked hard and had some fun. You and your sis are very pretty and have such beautiful white sparkling teeth. I know that seems weird , but its one of my weird traits, I always notice pretty white smiles.

Wow, sounds like you had a VERY busy weekend! Can you show us before and after pics of the whole front of the house, so we can see the change? what did you do with the trees once they were cut down? Firewood?

I'll bet you need a holiday from your holiday!
xoxo,
mary

Alaura - thank you so much for posting a comment on my dad's birthday - it was so sweet of you! Your blog post is so funny, because tomorrow my dad has a tree guy coming to take down two pine trees in his yard that are getting a bit dangerous (rotting and leaning toward the house)... Must be tree removal season! LOL...Donna

Oops! I didn't mean to leave that as anonymous... It's me, Donna, that was thanking you! LOL

How are you liking the yard with the trees gone? Has it let the sunshine in? Things like that can make such a huge change.

Hope you're having a great week.
