IT HAS BEEN A SAD WEEKEND

Good afternoon to all my dear friends. This past week and weekend have not been too good around here. First of all my sweet daughter in law has to have surgery on Tuesday morning, she has a to have her Ovaries  removed.  But they are keep her Uterus and they are going to burn the lining of it. She will be out the same day, which is a good thing. It is not cancer Praise the Lord, but it is something  not good. In her Right Ovary she has a sort of  baby, in there. It is not a live one but one that just seems to have taken up space in there. She was fixed after she had their last child, so not sure how this came about. The Dr. told her it happens  One in so Many Millions, She is doing pretty good right now, so just keep her in your prayers it would be so wonderful. And I thank you all for that.

Now for my next sad thing which I am so sorry to have to post on, don't want to bring any one down for ruin your day. But I must let this out.  Our neighbor lady who lives across the st. from us. well she lost her only daughter yesterday afternoon. She had a very bad cancer in her spin we have only seen the little girl about two times.  Hubby and I came home for our hike and saw all the cars over there and we just knew what happened. She is a single Mom and that was her only child, so we are all praying for her, that Lord will see her through this very hard time. Our neighbors are taking up a collection to pass on to her, she has not been about to work much because of staying home and taking care of her, She is a ER nurse. Ok enough of that.

Now on to the post I was going to do today. It is about our wonderful day yesterday, and it was so wonderful. My camera deiced' ed to stop working. I was so mad at that camera, I did manage to get a few on it before it broke. Bur as usual hubby to the rescue, he used his fancy new phone to take photos for me. And we have taken so many great looking ones. Now we just have to figure out how to get them to my laptop, and his. It is not going well with it, so I have no photos yet, but when I do I am going to post all about our day.  Not tomorrow I am doing a post on the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting at where my Hubby works. It was so great to hob nob with such talented people. Well I won't tell you any more I will save it to tomorrow's post.

I wish to thank you all for such sweet and wonderful comments about my Pink hunt. I had such a fun time hunting them down for Pink Saturday. lol  So thank you all, you my dear friends are the Best....   God Bless

Hugs;

Alaura

I will definitely keep all in my prayers. It surely has been a tough weekend, but as you know, we must rely on our faith to see us through.
I'll be thinking of you and your family/neighbor.

It is okay to tell about the sad stuff. As you said, sometimes we need to let it out. Somehow that helps usually. I hope you have better days. Looking forward to seeing those pictures of your day.

Sorry to hear about your DILs surgery, but thank the Good Lord it isn't cancer, like it was for your neighbor's daughter.

I'll whisper a prayer for you, your loved ones and your dear neighbor tonite. I think blogs are a place to share our feelings, both happy and sad.

I'm so sorry to read about your tough weekend. My thoughts are with your daughter in law right now. Your poor neighbor. My heart aches when I hear stories like that. My prayers are with her. What a difficult time she must be having. I can't (and hope never I have to) imagine the pain that woman and her family are going through.

take care,
Dawn

I hope your daughter n law will be up and feeling well again soon. My nephew just arrived home on Oct. 4th from his 2nd tour in Iraq. Your son is one fine young man, I know how proud and how full your heart is for him.
