MONDAY MONDAY LA LA DA DA

Hello to all my dear friends. Hope you all had a great weekend. Boy was it hot this weekend, tomorrow is going to be a littler cooler in the mid 70's. The leaves sure are turning now. This Saturday hubby and I are going on a fall picnic just the two of us. We have a state park here called Pokagan  State park. It is just so pretty in the fall, they have such great hiking trails. I will make sure I take my camera for all the fall pretties to share.

I had a little visitor on Saturday my grandson Zachary, he is 5yr.

He is such a sweet loving young man,  well sometimes. lol

He is so proud of his drawing. Zach loves to draw and color, so he wanted me to take a picture of him and his drawing.  Love his deep and bright blue eyes, they are just like his Auntie Heather's how weird that is. His daddy has brown eyes and his mommy has green. So go figure the gene pool is pretty cool when you think about it.

Zachary loves to help me out with just about anything, ironing, putting the dirty dishes in the dish washer, dusting. Hope he stays like that when he is all grown up. lol.

Well today I have been working on my slate that I am putting on my fence, it turned out pretty good. I will be putting the finishing touches on it all tomorrow, and then on Wed. I will unveil it all. I am not good at hand painting but this turned out just fine, only used one stencil it was a sunflower.

So is any one out there watching Dancing With the Stars. I just love watching it, the dancers are so good. I was thinking about taking a ball room dance class. lol;  Cloris is so great she is pretty good for 83 may can she pick up her leg. Wouldn't it be great if she won. how cool...

Any hooooo  I am going to be making some scrapbook trading cards when I get a few done I will show them to you. I am getting into scrapbooking again, love it. I really need to get on my sewing machine again too. so many things to do and not enough time to do them. I still have to work on my chair so I can get it outside for Halloween, tomorrow I am making a trip to the Dollar Tree looking for some fall leaf ivy. Hope it is not too late, at Walley World they are getting their Christmas decorations out. I don't no how any of you feel about this but I don't like it when they rush the holidays I mean it is not even Halloween yet. Oh well, guess they want to get some of us shopping early. Well I guess that is all for now, I want to Thank you all for stopping by and leaving your lovely comments. How sweet all of you are. I so love my blog and being apart of this wide and fabulous family. Thank you for letting me in yours. God Bless;

Hugs;

Alaura

I bet you had a great time with your little grandson. He is a great little artist too!

I know what you mean about putting out the Christmas things to early. Takes away from the fun of the next holiday when they are already on to the next to soon.

Hugs,
Joanne

I know what you mean about rushing the holidays. I don't like that either. I'm like "wait a minute, I'm still trying to get stuff for the current holiday"! Looking forward to seeing your project you are working on.

You don't have me on your blogroll, so you missed my whole post on DWTS. Go back and check it out! In addition, this would have been a Perfect Post for Blue Monday. Come join in, Alaura.

Good evening Alaura. What a sweet boy he is. How nice that you got to visit with him. I think his drawing is wonderful!

I agree with you. I did my grocery shopping last week and there was already an aisle of Christmas stuff out! It's too soon! As much as I love Christmas I think they need to wait!

take care,
Dawn
