OK FRIENDS I NEED SOME ADVICE

Hello every one, it is another great and faboh day in the neighbor hood. The sun is shining and the temp. is pretty cool with a light breeze, just perfect....  ahhhhhhhh.

Ok not to my decorating help, I have this Halloween fence with a black cat and some grapevine wreath on it. I will show you a photo of it.

My daughter had this and was going to chop it up and burn it in their fire pit..  OH I THINK NOT!!!   So when I saw it I had to have it. So now that I have it what do I do with it.  This is where you all come in,  HELP!!!!!     Ok every one step up to the plate and toss me some ideas, as how to make it look great....  I am going to put it up by my house out front so when the kiddies stop by for a treat it will look nice, not scary,, I don't do scary....  I would so love your help, and can't wait to read what you all come up with.....  Now if any of you are brave enough to accept this mission step forward..

Now on too my project today; I am painting a old wood chair that a good friend gave me years ago, and I am now getting around to painting it.  I know why so long,,,,,,,   well,,,,,,,  hmmmmm,,,,

running a blank here, no good answer to that. oh well  here is the photos of it.

close up of the back. I just love this little chair. I need to make the rungs safe on the bottom they are loose. But then again no one will be setting on it. It will just for show and decorating, it will under a overhang out side my front door. I am going to take photos of it during the progress. Now I have some others to show you that I made the ideas came from reading posts, such wonderful and great ideas I find on the blogs. So great.....

Hope you can see this; I made this for my daughter Heather, the bottom is a bowl we found at Wal-Mart, the top is just the top from a jar candle. I used it because it was big and heavy enough to pick up the bowl. I made a stand for it but she already has it. I put two ceramic candle holders together with a dinner plate. It looks really great.

Now this is my cake plate stand. I found the top at the Johnny Apple seed festival in the Antique section. I just love it and bought it for only 10.00 what a by.

This is the top of it I know it is hard to see but it has birds and flowers around it the edge has ruffle type design.  I used the wrong kind of glue and now you can see it, so to fix it I am getting one of those paper doilies to put on it. I found a nice glass candle holder at the dollar tree with a flat candle tray a round one. I wanted to make sure it was sturdy.  Now all I have left to do is make a cake or some cookies to put on it. yummmmyyyyyy

Well that is it for now, I have to get started on my chair, I am late doing that. I want to thank you all for you sweet comments. I so look forward to sitting down in the evening and sipping something warm and read your comments and then go and visit your blogs. And it takes awhile because there is so many to see.  I hope every one has a wonderful day today, and I will see you all for Pink Saturday!!!!!  God Bless;

Hugs;

Alaura

Alaura,

You are so much more creative than I am; who am I to tell you anything?

I would paint the fencing orange and put yellow lettering on it to say "Welcome." That's Halloween, without being scary.

I love the way you MADE the cloche! I still don't have one. I've got to go now. I'm turning Green!

I love your little chair; is it called a plank bottom? I like smilingsal's suggestions for your fence. I'm maybe add some flowers in fall colors too.

Hi Alaura!! I love the little fence too! You could put a little sign on it and say "Boo". Oh, and you know those little lights for halloween? Maybe the ones that look like little orange pumpkins. You could string them through your pickets. Love your cloche. I would have thought it came just like that! You're quite the busy little bee, aren't you?
Have a beautiful weekend.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

You could tie on some fall garland in addition to painting the fence. Or maybe hang a fall/harvest wreath on it too. Hope that helps.
